Attorneys General

How can we fix this?

If we elect Democratic attorneys general, they’ll throw out the above (and similar) lawsuits against things like the ACA and DACA. Also, Democratic attorneys general are suing the Trump administration over the removal of Obama-era environmental protections, net neutrality, and the ‘Muslim ban’ (which the Supreme Court upheld). In short, attorneys general may be the most direct check on the Trump administration over the next two years, so we need to elect Democrats to the position in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont and Wisconsin. Also, we need to elect Democratic governors in Alaska, Hawaii, New Hampshire and Wyoming, because they appoint the attorney general (as does the state legislature in Maine).
